I started writing this blog – Technology Roadmapping Update – to share what I know about this planning methodology and to get a conversation started, if possible. I am not an academic on the subject, have not performed thousands of hours of research into it. I am a witness though to the power of a well-designed and executed roadmapping process. I have seen many large organizations around the world use simple but effective roadmapping concepts to improve their product development process in ways that no other process can even touch.
